The ATFCA Victoria Branch is licensed by Athletics Australia as a coach education provider for Coach Accreditation. For 2011, the Victorian Branch continues its long history providing the new generation of athletics coaching courses:

- Level 1 - Beginning Coach: An entry level 1 day program

- Level 2 - Club Coach: a two day program

- Level 2 - Event Group Coach: a one day program

- Level 3 - New Level 3 course information will be released no earlier than June 2010

 

Level 2 - Club Coach: A Two Day Program

The ATFCA advises all novice coaches to complete this is 2 day program. It is designed to develop fundamental skills and drills, and understanding of the basic technical models for most events and is especially suited to coaches coaching at Little Athletics Centres, with AV clubs and for school competition.

Level 2 - Event Group Coach: A One Day Program

Applicants for level 2 courses are not obligated to go from level 1 to level 2 Club Coach. A Level 1 coach can also elect to progress to the EVENT GROUP COACH stream.

This ONE DAY program is also designed to develop fundamental skills and drills, and understanding of the basic technical models, in a specific event group.
