State Track and Field 2011

Whether you medalled, made a final, achieved a PB or just competed you made it to the Victorian State Track & Field Championships that is a fantastic achievement.

There were many PB’s and we brought home 19 medals, 10 Gold, 5 Silver and 4 Bronze.

Eastlink Tunnel Closure

Eastlink tunnels will be closed on the morning of Sunday 20th March. Therefore any parents/competitors/officials wishing to use the road on that day and commuting from further East than Springvale Rd will not be able to use the tunnels to enter the city.

Tunnels will be open after 1:00pm

These championships are held at a Region level in February, where boys and girls have to qualify or be progressed into the State Championships. For Region dates and Venue please see below:

To qualify for the State Track and Field Championships, athletes must compete at their Region Track and Field Championships. 

There are nineteen (19) different events which are conducted at these Championships. Athletes can choose what events they would like to compete in - subject to those available for the relevant age group.

Athletes can compete in a maximum of four (4) events.

  • High Jump
  • 200m

  • Javelin
  • 400m
