Cross Country is our winter competition where athletes run in undulating terrain at a selected Venue! This event is a distance running event for athletes in our Under 7 to Under 15 age groups - both boys and girls. 

• Championship Events apply only to the U9-U15 age groups.
• The 2010 'Invitational Race' is open to U7/U8 registered athletes only– no entries will be accepted for the U6 age group. **

Athletes run as individuals but can make up a team. To make a team, a Centre must have three athletes competing in the same age group from the same Centre.

The distances the age groups run depend on the age group:

Under 7 - Under 8 1000m

 Under 9 - Under 10 1500m

 Under 11 - Under 12 2000m

 Under 13 - Under 15 3000m

The cost of entry for the under 9-15 age categories is $5 for each individual entrant and $10 for each team entry. Entry for Invitational athletes in the Under 7 and 8 age groups is $2 per athlete.
