Important information on 2010/11 registration

WELCOME BACK TO THE 2010/2011 SEASON

This year promises to be a very exciting year as Little Athletics Victoria (LAV) have made some significant changes to their season calendar. We too have made some changes to our calendar to complement LAV.

For the first time ALL Registrations must be done via Clubs On-Line. Please find attached the link for athletes to register.

"McDonalds Join up / Register" button.

Existing Members:

Registered members from last season will soon be sent a system generated email with a personal access code to complete registration for each child. If your email has changed since last season, send us a note through our “Contact Us” link.

New Members:

If you were not a registered member last season you must register through Clubs On-Line by clicking the “New Member” box. If you are registering more than one child follow the instructions carefully by selecting the “Family” option so that you receive the multiple child discount. All new members must provide proof of age before receiving their Registration Tag and showbag.

Please be aware that our five clubs; Cougars, Dragons, Lynx, Scorpions and Wildcats are capped at 100 members unless demand calls for larger numbers. This is so that the club membership is kept even across the Centre. Once this cap is reached, registration for that club will be blocked and you will be required to select another club within our Centre. Therefore, if you have a preference to which club you would like to compete with, we suggest you register early.

 Uniform:

For new members to help you select your club of choice please be aware that all clubs run under the Werribee Little Athletics banner. On weekly competition days our centre consists of 5 clubs namely Cougars (light blue t-shirt), Dragons (Yellow t-shirt), Lynx (red t-shirt), Scorpions (white t-shirt) and Wildcats (green t-shirt). All athletes regardless of which club they compete in are required to wear plain black shorts and white socks. No emblems are permitted on t-shirts or shorts. Long pants or skins are not permitted as uniform.

This season we are holding our Centre Registration days on the 11th & 18th September, 2010. These days will be for all athletes who have registered on-line to collect their Registration Tags and show bag.

For those who have difficulty registering online we will have some computers at our Registration days to help people register. However, I strongly urge people to register on-line before these days to avoid queues.

The one off Centre Registration fee covers the weekly Summer season program, the Winter Cross Country season and presentation days. A child must be between 5 and 15 years old as at the 30th September, 2010 to register. Fees are as follows:

One Child: $130.00

Family of Two: $260.00

Family of Three: $335.00

Family of Four: $410.00

Family of Five: $485.00

*Discount is given for the 3rd and subsequent child from the same family.

Club T-Shirts in all colours and sizes will be available for purchase for only $8.95 at our registration days.

Note – Our 1st day of competition is on Sunday 3rd October, 2010 commencing at 1pm. All athletes must be registered 24hrs prior to their 1st day of competition.
